Make a badass 404 page with Squarespace
Maybe you’ve heard of a 404 page, also known as the page not found page. It’s the page you get when you go to a page that no longer exists or never existed in the first place. An example of the last one is www.wanderfulacademy.com/oninecuorses. As you can see, the last words are not right.
With Squarespace, you can get a really badass 404 page. Standard, most of the platforms have a basic 404 page. It’s fine, but it doesn’t really portrait your brand and what you want to show. It’s not fun if people go to a page that doesn’t exist on your website. If they get there, isn’t it better to guide them to pages that do exist? So check www.wanderfulassistant.com/page-not-found and see the page my visitors get when they go to a page that doesn’t exist.
This page is made with a normal page. You can completely customize it by adding an image, my own text, and buttons to other pages without knowing any code.
Don’t be afraid to have fun with this page, keep it on brand, and don’t overthink it. Do you want some inspiration? Check these pages:
