Add your podcast to your Squarespace website

Nowadays more and more people have a podcast. It’s a great way to speak to people while they do other stuff. With a blog or vlog, you need to look at something, but with a podcast, you can just put your headphones in, because let’s face it, people, we don’t want the the neighbors to hear. You can listen to a podcast just sitting on your loungeset in the garden, while you take a walk, or while you clean your house. I started doing the latter and it makes cleaning my house a lot more bearable, haha. Podcasts using Squarespace audio blocks. I'll tell you how.
My favorite podcasts are those from Sex with Emily, Sophia Bush - Work in Progress, Getting Curious with Jonathan van Ness, Justin Baldoni - The Man Enough Podcast, and Dax Shepard - Armchair Expert.
Podcasts using Squarespace
You can have your own podcast, maybe you already have one. So showcase your podcasts using Squarespace to get more exposure. It's one of the ideal marketing tools for introverts.
To showcase your podcasts you need to add a Blog page to your website. You can use the blog page you are already using, but you can also add a separate blog page just for your podcasts. Squarespace has a collaboration with Apple Podcasts, but you can also stream your feed to other services like Google Play, Spotify, or Stitcher.
Squarespace podcast template
You can make your post with your podcasts as elaborate as you want. In the post, you add a Squarespace Audio Block where you upload your podcast. Besides that, you can add as many info and images as you want. Because that’s the best thing about Squarespace. It’s super easy to add text, images, testimonials, etc by just selecting a block and dropping it wherever you want. If you want to have your podcast on, for example, Apple Podcasts, don’t forget to also fill out the section Podcast in the Squarespace Audio Block.
Don't you have a podcast because you love to write more than talk? Make your live easier by creating a template for your blog post. In my blog post I'll show you how.
