When I first started my virtual assistant business, I put on a mask—I would film videos, take client calls almost daily, and force myself to always be “on.”
Which, naturally, led to me avoiding the actual work I needed to do because I was burnt out and exhausted from doing things that drained my energy.
The more “on” I pretended to be, the fewer clients I could take on and the less money I was able to make.
As introverted women, we’re incredible listeners, problem-solvers, and relationship-builders—skills that make us perfect for the VA world.
