Becoming a Virtual Assistant Beyond the Myths: Creating Realistic Goals

As an introvert, as an entrepreneur, you have to be realistic.

Maybe you’re scrolling through Instagram and you see amazing entrepreneurs celebrating their successes.

You want that too. Of course, you want that.

But you have to be realistic. Maybe, probably they already had a couple of businesses that “failed” or made “mistakes” in their careers.

Failures or mistakes are not a bad thing. You learn from them. They are redirections to something that is for you.

Last Sunday I saw a Masterclass by Sara Blakely, founder of Spanx, and she wanted to be a lawyer but she sucks at taking tests. So, she didn’t get into law school. She failed. But imagine that she was great at taking tests and became a lawyer. This amazing business wouldn’t exist.

So, again failures are redirections and let you learn so much.

These lessons you take with you into your business. You can turn them into skills.

So, maybe you’re, just like me, not an overnight success. You struggle to get clients. You struggle with finding the right services to offer.

That’s ok. Set those realistic goals and work towards them.

Learn, adapt, and grow.
