When you’re fed up with your work, this is one of the first phrases you type into Google: “easy freelance jobs for beginners.”
You want to know what you can do to create the freedom and control you crave.
I totally get you. I didn’t type anything in, but when that Facebook ad about becoming a VA came on my feed, I was sooooo intrigued.
I jumped on that because I knew something had to change in my life. Even though I thought I couldn’t be a successful business owner as an introvert, I went for it.
Because I was soooooo done with how my life was going.
And now, I have a successful virtual assistant business, and I teach other amazing women how they can start their own VA business.
So, this can be you.
Easy Freelance Jobs for Beginners: The Series
I always find it so strange that they write all these possibilities and mention virtual assistant as something separate. Like you can’t offer all these “jobs” as a service for your virtual assistant business.
So every single freelance job I mention in this blog is something you can offer as a service.
As an introvert, you have so many superpowers that make you an excellent business owner.

So, what are these easy online jobs for women… Well, let me tell you!
Inbox Management
When you’re organized, this is an amazing service to offer. There are so many business owners who go completely bonkers because of the 4000 emails that they haven’t read.
With your organizational skills, you are a lifesaver for them. You can offer this as an ongoing partnership or project-based.
2. Online Course/Membership Management
Not every course creator also wants to answer all the questions their students have or keep their community hopping. They don’t want to add new content to their courses or create new courses in the tool they’re using. All your customer service skills come into play here. You’re there to give their students the ultimate experience.
This is one of the services I offer my VA clients.
3. Blog Management
Writing a blog post is one thing for business owners, but posting them, reacting to comments, etc, is not what they all want to do. So, this can be one of the services you offer. You can make it as elaborate as you want it to be.
4. Remote Personal Assistant
Maybe this is something you already do. When you start your own business, you can do it for more business owners. You can also specialize in one aspect, like making travel arrangements, booking vacations, coming up with great gifts, etc. That’s the great thing about being your own boss. Maybe you love some aspects of being a PA but hate to do some tasks. When you have your own business, you only have to offer what you love to do.
5. Social media engagement
Engagement is super important when you’re on social media with your business. Not every entrepreneur wants to do this. I know, I don’t. It’s something I outsource.
When you love to be social and you can write great comments, this is an easy freelance job you can do as a beginner.
6. Social Media Management
You can offer as many services as you want. You can focus just on creating graphics, planning posts, or setting up social media accounts. You can do it (almost) all or you can specialize in one social media platform, like becoming a Pinterest Management VA. It’s all up to you. So many business owners have an online presence, but they have no idea what they’re doing. It’s one of the most sought-after freelance jobs for beginners.
7. Squarespace designer
Squarespace is an incredibly easy website platform to learn. Every business needs a website. Yes, you also need one as a virtual assistant. Not every business owner wants to spend time building their own. Once you have built your own website, you now have all the knowledge to offer this as a service. My virtual assistant coach told me about Squarespace, and I spent the next 3 months building my own website. I absolutely loved it. You can put in all your creativity and the tech skills you didn’t know you had.
8. Setting up email marketing systems
Before I started my own business, I did not know what an email marketing tool was. I just didn’t think about how I got emails from my favorite clothing stores. Now, I have my own businesses, I know exactly how they work. I’m a tech queen, and this is one of the services I offer for my VA clients. You can also become a funnel queen and know all the ins and outs of this easy freelance job. In The WolfPack, this is one of the skills I teach you. The same goes for Squarespace and Dubsado, and so much more.
9. Setting up Dubsado
Most businesses use different tools to onboard their clients. Dubsado is a time-consuming system to set up, so that’s why it’s a great service to offer as a virtual assistant.
So, you have to invest learning time into this business management system to offer this as a service, but I know with your love to learn, you are going to nail this. The great thing about Dubsado is that they don’t have a time limit on their trial period. So, you can dive deep into this system without spending money.
10. Proofreading
Are you going nuts every time you see a typo in an ebook you’re reading? Then becoming a proofreader is something that’s definitely for you. There is a huge market for this because UNESCO estimates that about 2.2 million books are published every year. So, your perfectionism about grammar comes in handy for all these writers.
11. Copywriting
When you love to write and are an amazing storyteller, then becoming a copywriter is one of the easy online jobs for women for you. Writing is one thing, but really grabbing someone’s attention with storytelling is such a gift to have. Not every business owner wants to spend time perfecting that craft. You can specialize in SEO storytelling for websites, blog posts, etc.
How to choose which easy freelance job is for you?
My number one rule is that the service(s) you want to offer have to give you energy. You didn’t start your virtual assistant business to do the things you hate to do. Because trust me, not everything you have to do as a business owner is amazing.
You can offer services that you already do in your 9-5. I started out as an admin VA because that’s what I was used to. It seemed easiest to me to just do that. But to be honest with you, it didn’t light me up. I felt absolutely blah about the services I offered. So, I had a hard time finding clients.
Within a year of starting my virtual assistant business, I pivoted to becoming a tech VA. Again, something I never thought I would be. I didn’t know I had a tech queen inside me waiting to come out.
So, you don’t have to offer services that you are already doing right now. Maybe you do the social media for the shelter where you volunteer. Maybe you’re seeing other VAs on Instagram offering services that sound absolutely amazing to you.
As a business owner, you make the rules. You decide what you want to offer.
