What Services Can You Offer as a Virtual Assistant

Imagine working from home. You do your morning routine but instead of getting in your car or taking public transportation to your work, you walk up the stairs. You check your agenda and see that you have some amazing projects to work on. You also notice that you have some extra time in the afternoon, so you decide to stop working early and enjoy your free time.

Becoming a virtual assistant can be a great career choice for those who are looking for flexibility and the ability to work from home. However, before you start your journey toward becoming a successful VA, it's important to consider what type of VA you want to be.

How Do You Choose?

One option is to use the skills you already have from your 9-5 job and set up your VA business to help even more clients. For example, if you are a skilled graphic designer, you can set up your VA business to offer graphic design services to clients. Similarly, if you are an expert in bookkeeping, you can offer those services to clients as a VA.

On the other hand, if you don't have any specific skills from your 9-5 job, there are still many skills that you can develop that will be useful as a VA. For example, if you enjoy writing in your free time, you can offer copywriting services to clients. If you love to post on social media about your life, you can offer social media management services to clients.

Ultimately, the key is to identify the skills and services that you enjoy doing and that you are passionate about. This will help you to build a successful VA business that you love and that provides value to your clients.

What Did I Do?

When I started my own Virtual Assistant business I had no idea what was possible. I didn’t know that you can offer every service you can think of.

So I started as an Admin VA. Because that was what I did when I worked in the corporate world. It seemed like the most logical thing to do.

When one of my earlier clients asked me to do more with her website, setting up webinars, and working on her email marketing system I found what I really loved to do.

I never thought I would be tech-savvy. But by learning new skills while working for clients I pivoted to becoming a Tech & Systems VA.

There are Different Pathways You Can Take.

These are the most common and highly sought-after services you can offer.

THE ADMIN VA PATHWAY

An Admin VA handles tasks like financial records, invoices, appointments, customer support, email responses, data entry, or database management. The membership equips you with the skills to confidently sell your services and support your clients by teaching you how to successfully complete these tasks.

THE SOCIAL MEDIA VA PATHWAY

A Social Media VA manages various social media tasks, including content creation, scheduling, monitoring and tracking, responding to customer inquiries, and engaging with followers. The membership equips you with the skills to confidently sell your services, and support your clients by teaching you how to successfully complete these tasks.

THE TECH & SYSTEMS VA PATHWAY

As a Tech & Systems VA, you create websites, set up webinars or challenges, set up online stores and online courses, and systems such as sales funnels, email automations, and scheduling tools, monitor and optimize their performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. The membership equips you with the skills to confidently sell your services and support your clients by teaching you how to successfully complete these tasks.

THE CREATIVE VA PATHWAY

As a Creative VA, you create content in the broadest sense of the word, including copy for websites and blog posts, proofread copy or books, and assist with editing podcasts or vlogs.

We explore all these pathways in the Wolfpack Membership. We have monthly training to dive deep into a skill. How you can actually do this, what different variations you can offer, and how you can collaborate with clients

Plus you can ask me all your questions in the community.
